death note 2 is better than 1, but then, i haven finish the manga so cant say the show's good cos death note 1 was very disappointing compared to the manga.. anyone caught L's real name?? too distracted to look! i hate ryuk!!! sad~

curse of the golden flower is so bloody! thought of king and the clown ...of poor junki! blood flowing when he cut his wrist... ouch.. the effects was real cool but the plot is ____. i get the details and stuff but i seriously donno what the show is about. haha. everyone's like saying how good it is. i think im just biased towards ____(erm, its not jay). hmm, must keep an open mind next time. haha.

South Africa

Im back!! and unlike the other times, i decided to post with pics cos the trip was fun!! weirdly, i think its a bit similar to jn's trip to australia.. haha..

DAY 1

weather was cold when we landed.. around 18degC..

Landed at Johannesburg International Airport at around 7am (SA time.. its 6 hrs slower than us)

headed straight for Gold Reef City.. we reached quite early so had a look around first before going to watch the tribal show..

Then watched them bring some hot real gold from the furnace.. then they had another one, which was 90% gold and weighed 13kg for us to touch! haha.. the tour guide kept encouraging us to bring it home if we could lift it. haha. didnt try lifting it though.

Then we went down to a mine which is not functioning anymore but still real.. rode a shaft down which she said was built in 19__. yeah, cant rmb, but its at least 50 years old. quite scary. wore some helmets and the guys took torches. the helmets are loose! really dark in the shaft if we switched off the lights. cant see ur fingers even if u put then 5cm from ur eyes.

Then we went to Mabula game lodge!! its like a private safari where we get to ride an open jeep looking for wild animals..

oh, my sis met her classmate on the trip and they didnt know until at the airport! and my sis still said: that person look familiar! haha. and the classmate's cousin is a friend of mine.. haha.. what a small world. 4 PCPS ppl in the tour!

DAY 2

morning drive!! cold!! but its super fun!! i wanna go again!

went to search for elephants and lions, so we drove really deep into the area, up some hill, but didnt see any of them!! another jeep saw lions!! wah!!

lunch was at a place called sun emperor restaurant.. chinese food.. not nice..

Went to Sun City!!!

then we had this tour thing.. walked alot!

they have this slide called temple of courage, which is those steep kind of water slide, and many ppl came down with bruises all over their back! so poor thing..

actually made alot of plans, many place to go.. but no time!! so in the end we just took dinner(cup noodles!) and went to watch a movie. As it was a tues, there was this promo on, so the tickets to the show was only R15, which is around S$3. watched the devil wears prada with my sis and her classmate. it was nice, but we were all really tired.

they had this arcade there, and there is this racing lions thing which my sis said sg also have but i nvr see b4.. its addictive! haha..

DAY 3

HELICOPTER RIDE IN THE MORNING!

fun! there was this sudden drop during the ride and i just grabbed my sis hand and left fingernail marks!! haha.. oops

i think this place called wimpy is like the macdonald of johannesburg.. so many of them.. its a BK kind of place..

the tube thing is about S$20, more worth it... we are being dragged by a speed boat then the boat will do some funny funny thing to make us fall.. then when we didnt fall, they purposely make some of us change place to make the lightest person overturn(cos its easiest to make the lightest person fall)! then when she fall its GAME OVER! no fair! the cheaters!

then we went swimming.. the water is sooooo dirty! visibility is like close to zero! and there are bugs floating around everywhere!! went back to the room to bathe and take dinner, then went to watch 'Let there be rock'. 8.30-10.30pm! so tiring.. its high but i nodded off once.. haha.. not like my sis who sleep until her mouth wide open. then there was this person who left early cos she cant stand it.. the group is so not enthu! hard to be high alone.. but the front row ppl are funny.. and the performers too.. nice show! although the plot sucks if its a musical..

DAY 4

spent the night at mondior concorde hotel.. the room was small but absolutely pretty and modern..

DAY 5

woke up at 4 to get ready for a domestic flight to cape town..

arrived at cape town international airport at around 8am.. slept through the whole flight.. around 2 hrs..

woke up at 6 the next day then flew at 1130am.. reached singapore at 650am, sg time.. 13 hr flight... watched step up and monster hse on the return flight and dragon tiger gate on the departure.. nic tze is so shuai!! but he is cuter in 'invincible duo'!! haha!! the show rocks! and so does 'tian wai fei xian'! must watch!!
